CPR Classes

The Schiller Park Fire Department offers the following levels of American Heart Association (AHA) CPR classes:

Friends & Family: course designed for those individuals who want to learn CPR, but do not need any certificate of completion. Ideal for expectant or new parents, grandparents, students, and babysitters.

Heartsaver: a certification course designed for those individuals who need to have a current, valid CPR card, as mandated by their employer, but who do not work in the healthcare industry.

Healthcare Provider: a certification course designed specifically for those individuals who work in the healthcare field.

The schedule for CPR classes can be obtained by calling the Fire Department (see CPR contact information below).

Classes are usually held at 6:30pm at the Village of Schiller Park Recreation Center which is located at 9638 W. Irving Park Road in Schiller Park, IL. However, this may be subject to change.

The cost for a CPR class is dependent upon whether the prospective student is a resident of the Village of Schiller Park. For residents the cost of the class is $25/person, while for non-residents the cost is $35/person. The applicable class fee includes the issuance of a CPR booklet.

If you are interested in enrollment in one of the CPR classes, registration is to be completed at the Village of Schiller Park Recreation Center. If, however, you are interested in having a private CPR class (minimum of five (5) people required), please contact the Schiller Park Fire Department directly for further details.
