How can I obtain a Police or Accident Report?

The hours of operation for the Police Records office are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Copies of reports are available, subject to the Freedom of Information and Privacy Acts. A written request must be submitted via letter, email, or you can fill out a form available at the Police Department. You may also download the request form here. The Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) allows five working days to respond to the request.

Accident reports can be obtained online through LexisNexis at ecrash.lexisnexis.com. Click on “Register for an Involved Party Account” and follow the prompts. For customer assistance, please call the LexisNexis support line at 866-215-2771.
