State Testing Proctor Assignments for 2008

 

 

The next Training Officer's meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at 9:00 AM at the Franklin Park Fire Department, 10001 Addison Street. 

 

At their January 9, 2008 meeting the Division 20 Chiefs approved the Incident Rehab Policy as recommended by the EMS and Training Committees.

Each Division 20 town has been assigned dates to assist the proctor at the State testing site at Triton College.  Information and dates for 2008 have been posted.

The Mission of the Training Committee is to develop, implement and coordinate quality and cost-effective training and educational programs that will provide a solid foundation of knowledge, skills and confidence to individuals and member departments to both maintain and improve the safety and effectiveness of emergency medical, fire, hazardous materials and rescue efforts.

Attention Paramedics..Triton College has announced a new Associate's Degree program with an emphasis on supervision, "Leadership for Paramedics", Curriculum C251B.  Certified Paramedics will receive 23 hours of equivalency credit.  Contact John Ryan, EMS Coordinator at Triton College, 708-456-0300 ext. 6101 for details.
