A: Yes, the Village offers a free calendar while supplies last at the Village Hall, Recreation Center, Community Development Department, and the Library. The calendars are usually available starting in late November. A: 11,850 people live in Schiller Park as of the 2000 census. A new census is scheduled for 2010 and a new population number will be determined after that tally is complete. It is important for every resident of the Village to be counted as part of the 2010 Census because some State and Federal funds are determined based on population. A: Yes, permits for Garage Sales are required. Each Garage Sale is limited to 3 consecutive days. Applications are available at Village Hall or by clicking here. There is no cost for the permit but residences are limited to 2 per year.

A: The Village is not involved in setting your rate but does receive approximately 18% of your property taxes. There are many steps in the property tax process.
