Lawrence Avenue Paving Tenatively Scheduled for Summer 2010

The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) has notified the Village that they are tenatively scheduling resurfacing of Lawrence Avenue from Forster Avenue to East River Road. The current proposal is for bids to be solicited in April 2010 with construction probably following in the mid-summer of 2010. The Village will provide further details as they become available. This is good news as the Village has urged IDOT to resurface this section of Lawrence for a number of years.
