In response to new State mandated requirements for consolidation of small locally controlled 911 dispatch centers, the Village of Schiller Park consolidated their Police and Fire dispatch operations with the Village of Norridge and the Village of Harwood Heights on September 19, 2017. Now, all Police and Fire related calls for service go through the new state-of-the art Municipal Consolidated Dispatch Center ("MCD") which is located in the nearby Harwood Heights Village Hall facility. Ron Gross is the Director of MCD.
All 911 emergency calls from Schiller Park (as well as Norridge & Harwoood Heights) are now automatically routed to MCD. When someone calls the Schiller Park Police Department’s non-emergency number (847-678-4794), they will still be able to reach various individuals within the Police Department through an Auto Attendant Greeting Message.
