Most foreclosures have outstanding water bills and/or grass cutting charges. These charges need to be paid either by the seller or the buyer. Please call the Village Hall at 847-678-2550 for information before you buy the property to ensure you know what obligations you may be inheriting.

The Village does not have stamp or inspection requirements on residential property transactions. Instead, we have a move out/ final water bill form that can be filled out by the old tenant or the relator HERE.
